Kos Town's port is a few minutes' walk from the door, and so are the Old Town, the medieval castle walls and the main beach — everything you came for is close enough to reach on foot. Eleven rooms make up Sonia Hotel & Suites, adults-only, run by a family that keeps the pace unhurried. For anyone who wants a city base with nothing scheduled and nowhere far to walk back from.
Eleven rooms and suites, done in pale walls and warm lighting rather than anything overhead and bright: a queen-size bed, a fridge, a kettle for coffee you make yourself. Ask for one with a balcony and the window opens onto the surrounding rooftops — good for the coffee in the morning, or for standing there with nothing particular in mind come evening. A few rooms run to a separate sitting area, one or two sleep three, and the family suite looks toward the sea. Eleven rooms is also why the team at the desk has time to help — recommendations, tips, whatever you need before you head out to the Old Town or the beach.
Sonia Hotel & Suites - Adults Only sets a minimum age of 18 in its own house rules, read on 11 August 2026. A house whose rule drops below eighteen, or stops naming an age, is taken off HUSH — how every house is checked.
Behind soft grey drapes the rooms are pared back and bright, a wide bed under a tufted headboard, a small desk, a kettle for the first coffee and a marble bathroom off to one side. Doubles, twins and a larger suite share the same easy palette of white and warm wood, and almost all step out onto a balcony of their own.
Slide the door open and the town falls away toward the water: whitewashed roofs, a fringe of palms, the masts of the marina and the blue line of the Aegean. A little table and two chairs make it the best seat in the room, for the first coffee, an afternoon book, or a glass of wine as the boats come back in.

Excellent breakfast Excellent location. My room was huge!
good location. Clean rooms.
Hotel conveniently located close to the town centre and the port in a calm position. The port can be reached in a 5-7 min walk. The room was clean and comfortable, the hotel's staff was friendly. We didn't have breakfast.
Great location between old town and port. Clean and spacious room. Wifi connection was good.

The house lists these as things to do from here. Where a line is marked off-site it is not on the property — a dive site, a trail, a stable. That mark is ours, not theirs.
Ask for one of the rooms with a balcony and the coffee-making kit is already there. Put it on before you've decided on a plan, and take it out to the rooftops of Kos Town while the town wakes up.
The shops and cafés of the Old Town are a few minutes' walk from the door. Wander as long as you like — the walk back to a quiet room above the street is short.
The medieval castle is close enough to reach on foot in a few minutes. Walk the walls, then head back for the quiet of the room upstairs.
Both are a few minutes' walk from the door — the port for the boats, the beach for the swim. Either way, you're back within the hour.
