Booking terms

Here is who is who when you book a room here.

HUSH arranges hotel stays; it does not run them. The contract for the stay is between you and the property. Payment is processed by our booking partner Nuitée Travel Limited, Dublin (LiteAPI / Nuitee Connect) as merchant of record; the property’s own conditions apply as well.

Prices

The total shown before you pay is what is charged, taxes and fees included, except charges payable only locally (a tourist tax, for instance), which we state where we know them. Our commission is inside that price. Prices are live and re-checked when you start a booking; if the price changed, we show you the new one before anything is charged.

Cancellation and withdrawal

Two things are being agreed at once, and the withdrawal question is answered separately for each.

The stay. There is no statutory right of withdrawal from accommodation booked for a particular date (§ 1837 obč. zák.). What can be cancelled, and until when, is set by the rate you chose; it is shown on the room before you pick it, on the checkout before you pay, and on your booking page afterwards.

Our part. What we do for you — finding the room, holding it and putting the booking through — is performed the moment the booking is confirmed, which is what you are asking for by booking at all. By completing the booking you ask us to perform it immediately and accept that, once performed, there is nothing left to withdraw from (§ 1837 písm. a) obč. zák.). We say this on the checkout above the payment button as well as here.

Cancellations run from your booking page or from the link in your confirmation; refunds go back to the card that paid, on the room’s own terms.

If something is wrong

Anything about the stay itself — the room, the building, the service, a charge made at the desk — is the property’s, because the stay is their contract with you. Write to them first; their address and telephone number are in your confirmation, and we will help if they do not answer. Anything about what we did — a booking that did not arrive, a price that was wrong, a refund that has not come back — is ours. Write to info@hush.travel with the reference and we will answer within one working day.

What we promise, and what we do not

We verify the age floor of every property from its own house rules and show it on the page. Availability, prices and hotel details come from third-party systems in real time; we do not warrant them beyond our own diligence. We are liable without limit for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health; otherwise for the breach of essential obligations, limited to the foreseeable, typical damage.

Booking with an obligation to pay

The button that completes the booking is marked as obliging you to pay. Pressing it concludes the contract and authorises the charge shown beside it. Charges the property collects on arrival — a local tourist tax, for instance — are listed separately and are not part of that amount.

Law and disputes

Czech law applies to consumers without prejudice to mandatory protection in their home country.

Out-of-court dispute resolution

If you are a consumer and we have not settled a complaint to your satisfaction, you may take the dispute to the Czech Trade Inspection Authority, which is the competent body for out-of-court settlement: Česká obchodní inspekce, Ústřední inspektorát — oddělení ADR, Gorazdova 1969/24, 120 00 Praha 2, adr@coi.gov.cz, coi.gov.cz/informace-o-adr. The procedure is free for the consumer and only a consumer can start it.
