H Corfu Mare Boutique Hotel Rooms & prices

A green suburb between Corfu Town's harbour and its centre, about eight minutes on foot from the port and twenty from the town itself, is where you'll find Corfu Mare. It borrows its lines from Venetian architecture and its manners from Corfiot hospitality, and takes no guests under eighteen. Twelve rooms, a garden, and eco-hotel credentials serious enough that the towels only change when you ask. For two people who want a few days with the phone left in the room.

Inside, the recently renovated rooms run to plush new bedding, crisp linens and a walk-in shower, with windows generous enough to fill the room with daylight rather than lamps. Twelve rooms in total, which is why the garden and the sauna never feel crowded. The style takes its cue from Venetian architecture, paired with a traditional Corfiot welcome. Climate control and a flat-screen are there if you want them, but the desk by the window is for people who came to think, not to be entertained. A jacuzzi sits beside the sauna, breakfast is a buffet from half past seven to half past ten, and — true to its place among Eco Hotels of the World — the towels and sheets change only when you ask.

Corfu Mare Boutique Hotel sets a minimum age of 18 in its own house rules, written at corfumare.gr, and read there on 11 August 2026. A house whose rule drops below eighteen, or stops naming an age, is taken off HUSH — how every house is checked.

Rooms in sage and blue

The bedrooms trade gloss for texture: caned headboards, slim brass reading lamps and panelled walls painted sage or deep blue over pale herringbone floors. Most open through arched doors to a small balcony above the garden, with a cafe table for morning coffee and the hills beyond. It is a room made for two, and little else.

Garden and arches

As the light goes, the villa's arched loggias glow above the water and the pool fills with lanterns and candlelight. The garden keeps its palms and cypress, the sun deck its loungers, and the evening belongs to couples nursing a drink from the pool bar. This is the hotel at its most itself, quiet and warm and unmistakably for adults.

We visited the hotel in September. We drove feom the airport at night and found it easily. It is off of the main road and a good 30 min walk from corfu town, as we had a rental car this was not a problem. The hotel...

Very expensive for what you got. This was supposed to be a non smoking hotel. We could not use the balcony to see the distant view as we could not breathe out there. The cigarette smoke was too thick. The bed was...

Our tips

The suite named for a burned book

Ask for the Master Suite Libro d'Oro, named after the golden book of noble names that Napoleon Bonaparte burned in Corfu's central square in 1797, the same day he planted a tree in its place as a symbol of liberty. It's one of two master suites at Corfu Mare, alongside the Serenity.

Buffet breakfast, 07:30 to 10:30

Breakfast runs as a daily buffet from half past seven to half past ten. If that's too early, or too rigid, the kitchen can do it as a packaged breakfast on request, or send it straight to the room.

The Port and the Town, on foot

The Port is about eight minutes on foot, 650 metres, and the way out to the ferries for Italy and the islands. Corfu Town is a touch further, roughly twenty minutes on foot, a kilometre and a half. Either way, you're back in time for the sauna.

The procession on August 11th

Every August 11th, Corfu carries the relics of its patron saint, Spyridon, through the streets, in a procession that marks — so the story goes — his defence of the island against a Turkish fleet in 1716. Corfu Town is twenty minutes away on foot, close enough to go and be back for a late dinner.
