H Anemoessa Villa Rooms & prices

On Santorini, a family built this house themselves: Panagiotis, Fotini and their daughter Irini, all born on the island, still the ones who look after it. Anemoessa Villa keeps just three rooms, a fenced pool, a terrace, and a small library, plus a front desk that runs limited hours rather than pretending someone is always behind it. It is a house made by a family, not a company, for two people who want a stay small enough that nobody else is sharing it.

Three rooms, a pool behind its own fence, a terrace, and a library corner — that is the whole of the place, kept deliberately small. The front desk keeps limited hours, but within them it will help arrange a tour or find tickets rather than leave you to sort it alone. The grounds are wheelchair accessible, and there is a marked spot outside for anyone who smokes, away from the terrace chairs. Panagiotis, Fotini and their daughter Irini built the villa themselves, and it is still the three of them, not a rotating staff, who run it.

Anemoessa Villa sets a minimum age of 18 in its own house rules, written at booking.com, and read there on 11 August 2026. A house whose rule drops below eighteen, or stops naming an age, is taken off HUSH — how every house is checked.

The vaulted rooms

Inside a maisonette the ceiling curves overhead in the old island way, painted the pale blue of the shutters. A wooden staircase climbs to a sleeping loft, stone slabs cover the floor, and small deep-set windows let the light in slowly. It is a room made for slowing down, close and cool against the Cycladic heat, with fresh flowers on the table and a book left by the bed.

Terrace and sea

Each house has its own stretch of terrace, paved in flat island stone and shaded by a timber pergola. Wooden loungers face out past the pool wall to the water, and potted greenery softens the sun-warmed render. In the evening the whole hillside turns gold, and the terrace becomes the best seat on the property for a slow drink as Oia settles toward the horizon.
