There are five of them, each placed to catch the river view and each with its own pool cut into the deck. The single restaurant and bar sit at the open western edge of the property, giving onto the whole sweep of the Sayan valley. The kitchen works farm-to-table, drawing on Balinese growers for a menu that moves between familiar plates and local ones; a daily a la carte breakfast and an afternoon high tea bracket the day, and a drink at the rail is timed to the sun dropping behind the ridge.
