H Seri Resort Gili Meno Rooms & prices

The fast boat from Bali takes about two hours and lands you at Gili Meno's small harbour; from there it's a fifteen-minute walk along the sand, or a chidomo cart if you're carrying bags, to Seri Resort. There are no cars on the island, only feet, bicycles and horse-carts, on a shore just five kilometres round. Seri Resort holds a hectare of that beachfront, adults only, thirty-two standard rooms, seventeen bungalows and three plunge-pool villas among the gardens — for anyone who wants a week with nothing scheduled but the tide.

Three kinds of room, each built for something different. The standard rooms sit two storeys up in longhouses at the centre of the grounds; the beach bungalows carry king beds and, at their best, an open sea view; the pool villas are closed in with bamboo fencing and garden, each with its own plunge pool, set back where nobody walks past the window. The restaurant rises three storeys off the sand, turquoise water on one side, Mount Rinjani's outline on the other, and when the weather holds, the tables move onto the beach for dinner — candlelight, the sea a few steps from your chair. Coral starts roughly where the sand ends; the same fish and turtles are there most mornings, off the shore, no boat required.

Seri Resort Gili Meno sets a minimum age of 18 in its own house rules, written at seriresortgilimeno.com, and read there on 11 August 2026. A house whose rule drops below eighteen, or stops naming an age, is taken off HUSH — how every house is checked.

The bungalows

The seventeen beach bungalows each hold a king bed and come with sea, partial-sea or garden views, a few steps from the water. Behind them, three one-bedroom pool villas are tucked into the back of the grounds, screened by bamboo fencing and planting, each with its own plunge pool for when privacy matters more than the beach. The palette stays the same throughout: white, stone and indigo cloth.

Dinner on the sand

As the sun drops the restaurant moves outside, and low tables are set straight onto the beach under strings of lanterns, with Mount Rinjani darkening across the water. The kitchen runs international menus and Indonesian dishes; some evenings the whole thing becomes a beach barbecue, fish and skewers over coals, and the tables stretch the length of the sand.

Our tips

The plunge-pool villas

Ask for one of the three pool villas — bamboo-fenced, tucked into the garden at the back of the grounds, each with its own plunge pool and nobody passing the window. It's the closest thing here to a room no one else can see into.

Dinner moved onto the sand

When the weather holds, tables go out onto the beach for a candlelit dinner — local and international dishes with Mount Rinjani's outline across the water. Lunch stays by the pool, big plates and small bites through the afternoon.

Snorkel straight off the beach

Fish and sea turtles move through the shallows a few steps from your lounger; masks and fins are available to rent at the resort. For more, book a private boat and snorkelling trip with Seri to the coral gardens across all three Gili islands.

Bike to the saltwater lake

Rent a bicycle at the resort and ride into the island's palm interior to the saltwater lake at its centre — Gili Meno is barely five kilometres round and carries no cars to dodge. Back in time for a swim, or a table at the beachfront restaurant.
