The roof is where the day loosens. An iron pergola strung with lanterns shades a lounge of white daybeds; a few steps down, sun loungers face a small hydromassage plunge pool and the crenellated parapet frames the medina rooftops all the way to the Koutoubia. Come evening the whole terrace turns amber and the call to prayer drifts up from the streets below.
