H La Cort My Dollhouse Rooms & prices

The road out of Ortisei climbs into Val Gardena, the peaks of the Dolomites filling the windscreen before you reach the top of it. La Cort My Dollhouse stands there, in what was once a mountain farmhouse called La Cort. Nine rooms, adults-only, built around a rooftop pool that looks straight at the rock. For anyone who wants skiing or hiking by day and nothing scheduled once the boots come off.

Breakfast is served in the old Tyrolean stube, coffee and pastries under a low wooden ceiling that has stood since the house was a farmhouse. Upstairs, the Rooftop Spa is built to face the rock: the heated Relax Infinity pool sits at the roof's edge, so you look out and the water seems to run straight into the Dolomites. A panoramic Finnish sauna, a Turkish bath and an organic herbal sauna share the same view, and the Vitalbar pours you juices and teas between rounds. Downstairs, the Honesty Bar leaves you to mix your own Gin Tonic or Martini and carry it to the fireplace, the lit windows of Ortisei below. The house runs on the doll tradition of Val Gardena, kept alive first by Karin Nocker and now, as owner, by her daughter Maria.

La Cort My Dollhouse sets a minimum age of 18 in its own house rules, read on 11 August 2026. A house whose rule drops below eighteen, or stops naming an age, is taken off HUSH — how every house is checked.

The Doll rooms

Each room carries the “Doll” theme in its own key — Premium, Charming, Woody, Cozy, Single — but all share the same language of natural wood, hand-carved headboards and warm neutral walls. Boxspring beds and walk-in showers make them properly comfortable, while wide windows and pale-timber floors keep the mood light. It is a mountain hotel that feels more like a private, adults-only hideaway than a lodge, each room its own small still corner above the valley.

The mountain balconies

Almost every room here opens west, onto a balcony or a small terrace set high above the valley. Step out and the view is all mountain: the wooded slopes of Val Gardena, the pale towers of the Dolomites, and Ortisei gathered in the basin below. This is where the afternoon slows down — a coffee in the sun after a day on the trails, the light turning gold on the rock, and, when the season turns, the same panorama arriving under fresh snow.

Our tips

The Relax Infinity pool

The rooftop pool is heated and cut to look empty at the edge, so the Dolomites appear to start where the water stops. Go up when the light drops — the Rooftop Spa also has a panoramic Finnish sauna, a Turkish bath and an organic herbal sauna if you want to keep moving between hot and cold.

Linner instead of lunch

The house serves a Linner Buffet in the afternoon — part lunch, part early dinner — to catch you between a morning on the mountain and the evening. Breakfast is long, in the old Tyrolean stube, with coffee and pastries; dinner itself is not served here, so the desk points you to restaurants nearby.

Mix your own drink

The Honesty Bar has no bartender: pour your own Gin Tonic or Martini and take it to the fireplace, with the lit rooftops of Ortisei below the window. It runs into the evening, whenever you come down from the spa.

Ortisei by season

Val Gardena is built for skiing in winter and for biking and hiking once the snow goes; the house treats both as the same starting point, so you leave boots or bike at the door either way.
