H Jardín del Edén Boutique Hotel Rooms & prices

A three-minute path through tropical garden is the only distance between the pool and the sand in Tamarindo: at the end of it, a private stretch of beach with its own bar, sun beds, and a plunge pool for when the Pacific feels too warm. Jardín del Edén sits back among that same garden — HUSH read the house rules, and it takes no guests under eighteen. For two people who want a day that answers to nothing before the three-course dinner at six.

Six rooms only, each one raised above its own square of tropical garden, so the pool never fills and the beach path three minutes away is never crowded either. The Master Suite's terrace holds a private jacuzzi, poured for a view of Tamarindo Bay that runs from blue to sunset without you leaving the chair. The Romantic Rooms sit lower, folded into the garden with a daybed and a patio of their own; the Superior rooms rise above the palm canopy for ocean views from a private balcony instead. Breakfast asks nothing of you but a chair: fruit, baked bread, and eggs from the hotel's own hens, and then a three-course dinner from a menu that changes daily, seating from six.

Jardín del Edén Boutique Hotel sets a minimum age of 18 in its own house rules, written at jardindeleden.com, and read there on 11 August 2026. A house whose rule drops below eighteen, or stops naming an age, is taken off HUSH — how every house is checked.

Garden suites

Behind sliding-glass doors, each room steps straight out into greenery. Superior and premium rooms line the tropical gardens, their private terraces screened by palms, heliconia and croton and set with rattan chairs, a low table and a welcome cocktail. Higher up, suite terraces add a mosaic-tiled jacuzzi and a curtained daybed, so a morning coffee or an evening soak happens entirely in the open air.

By the sea

The garden runs down to a lawn dotted with palm-thatch umbrellas and loungers, and beyond it lies the sand of Tamarindo Beach. This is the western edge of Costa Rica's Guanacaste coast, where the sun drops straight into the Pacific and fishing boats and catamarans ride out on the bay; the light show at dusk is why people drift down to the water each evening, drink in hand.

Our tips

The path to the private beach

Three minutes through the garden and the hotel drops you onto its own stretch of Tamarindo Beach, with sun beds, a plunge pool for when the ocean gets too warm, and a bar built to face the sunset. There's a marked corner for surfboards and showers before the walk back for dinner.

Dinner at La Plumeria

The three-course menu changes daily and is included in the stay, seating from six, outdoors among the gardens. Breakfast leans local too — Gallo Pinto, home-baked bread, and eggs from the hotel's own hens, with a mimosa if the coffee isn't enough.

The jacuzzi terrace in the Master Suite

Of the six rooms, the Master Suite is the one with its own jacuzzi set into a terrace that looks straight over Tamarindo Bay — worth asking for if the sunset is the point of the trip. Superior rooms trade the jacuzzi for a private balcony perched above the palm canopy instead.
