H Float Palm Springs - Adults Only Rooms & prices

Five minutes from downtown Palm Springs, the mountains take over the skyline before the town does. Float is a 1950s property behind its own palm trees, fourteen rooms wrapped around a turquoise pool with the San Jacinto range rising straight up behind it. It takes no guests under eighteen. For anyone who wants a stretch of days with a kitchen of their own and nothing scheduled.

Fourteen rooms only, split between two studio layouts, which keeps the pool deck from ever feeling crowded. Both come with a full kitchen and a king bed with a sofa across from it, so a long stay and a short one get the same setup. The windows look out on palm trees and, past them, the San Jacinto range. The pool is turquoise blue, with the jacuzzi a few steps away and loungers set out under the palms. There's no restaurant on site — the kitchens are the point — and no one behind a desk around the clock, only a seasonal guest service assistant and a 24-hour virtual line if something needs fixing.

Float Palm Springs - Adults Only sets a minimum age of 18 in its own house rules, read on 25 August 2026. A house whose rule drops below eighteen, or stops naming an age, is taken off HUSH — how every house is checked.

Please read the cancellation policy’s very “fine print”. My spouse suddenly became ill and we didn’t want to expose anyone to his sickness (tiny motel with a common pool limited distancing options). Tried calling to...

I stayed here recently as a local due to need for a member of my family to isolate. Was very disappointed with it. Room looked nothing like the website, but the king bed was comfy. But, why have a "kitchen" and no...

Our tips

The Deluxe King Studio

The Deluxe King Studio has its own outdoor seating just outside the door, on top of the same full kitchen, king bed and sofa as the standard studio. Daily housekeeping is included either way, so the room resets itself while you're out at the pool.

Cook in, not out

Both studios have a full kitchen, so a stop at a supermarket on the way in covers most of the stay. There's no restaurant on site — the trade-off for a working stove of your own.

Downtown, five minutes away

Downtown Palm Springs is a five-minute drive, close enough for an evening out but far enough that the pool stays quiet when you're back. Come back to the jacuzzi lit up and the mountains gone dark behind it.

The jacuzzi at day's end

The jacuzzi sits a few steps from the pool, worth using once the sun's off the deck. Check-in is contactless and private, so there's no front desk to pass on the way — just grab a towel from the room and go.
