H Cruccùris Resort Rooms & prices

In the hills above Villasimius, at the south-east tip of Sardinia, Cruccùris Resort is laid out as a borgo — a small village of stone houses gathered around a tropical garden rather than a single block. It takes adults only, and it is built for privacy: the rooms are scattered among a central building and three outlying hamlets so that even in season the loudest thing is the sea a few minutes downhill and the cicadas in the pines.

The rooms are called dimore and suites, and they lean into Sardinian craft — dark chestnut beams, terracotta floors, woven curtains and hand-painted ceramics, most opening to a private terrace over the garden or the maquis. Nothing is corporate: each house sits in its own pocket of bougainvillea and palm, and the palette outside runs from ochre to deep pink against the grey granite.

Cruccùris Resort sets a minimum age of 18 in its own house rules, read on 11 August 2026. A house whose rule drops below eighteen, or stops naming an age, is taken off HUSH — how every house is checked.

Houses in the garden

Because the accommodation is spread across the central block and three separate borghi, the resort never feels like a hotel with corridors. Each dimora has its own way in and its own patch of garden; the granite-walled bungalows in particular feel like small private houses, hidden in oleander and fig with the hills rising behind.

The Bisù bistrot

Dining is at the Bisù bistrot and American bar, where the cooking is modern Sardinian — plated, seasonal, unhurried — and dinner runs late on the terraces as the sea goes dark. It is the social heart of a place that otherwise keeps its guests pleasantly apart.

Our tips

Swim off Punta Molentis

The beaches of Villasimius are among the best in Sardinia; Punta Molentis and Spiaggia di Simius are a short drive down from the resort, and the property runs its own Stella Beach Club with umbrellas and sunbeds by the water.

Dive the Capo Carbonara reserve

The sea off Villasimius is a protected marine area around Capo Carbonara, with clear water over seagrass and rock; diving and snorkelling trips run from the marina a few kilometres away.

The salt pans and their flamingos

The Notteri lagoon between the resort and the sea is a salt pan that draws pink flamingos through much of the year — an easy walk or cycle, with the old fishing posts running out across the shallows.

Yoga and Pilates by the pool

In season the resort runs open-air yoga and Pilates on the pool deck, alongside a gym and bikes to hire — the active counterpoint to a place otherwise built around doing very little.
