Palm trees first, and gardens the resort kept whole when it rebuilt itself top to bottom — Canarian palms, native scrub, the shape of the land before anyone touched it. What stands now is Club Maspalomas Suites & Spa, adults-only, with a run of its rooms built as freestanding bungalows, each with a private garden and a jacuzzi rather than a shared pool view. For anyone who wants a week with a garden of their own to sit in.
Which room you get changes what you wake up to. Take one of the pool-view suites and the room's Balinese bed looks straight over the pool; take one of the freestanding bungalows and you get a terrace instead, opening onto its own garden, with hammocks, an outdoor shower and a jacuzzi, and nobody else's door in sight. A few of the doubles go further still, with a second, private terrace built around an outdoor bath. The shared rooms keep their own hours: the Outdoor Hall for coffee and WiFi by day, the Sunset Bar for whatever you're drinking between the pool and lunch, Plaza Don Felipe once the light goes for live music and a screen too big to ignore. Dinner moves between a themed buffet one night and a smaller Italian kitchen the next.
Club Maspalomas Suites & Spa sets a minimum age of 18 in its own house rules, written at clubmaspalomassuites.com, and read there on 11 August 2026. A house whose rule drops below eighteen, or stops naming an age, is taken off HUSH — how every house is checked.
Arrival is through a sculptural, timber-clad pavilion set among towering Canarian palms, and beyond it the resort opens into rows of single-storey white bungalows laced with lawns and flowering borders. The whole complex was renovated in step with the terrain, so the paths stay flat and shaded and the gardens feel less like grounds than like a small, green town made for slowing down.
Water runs through the heart of the resort: a long lap pool for morning lengths, mirror-calm reflecting pools alongside, and sun terraces lined with white loungers under the palms. Swimmers trace quiet laps while the rest of the terrace reads and dozes, and by late afternoon the light turns the tiled surrounds and still water a soft, unbroken blue.

Ask for one of the bungalows in rooms 104 to 158 and you get a house apart from the house: a terrace with its own table and umbrella, a garden with hammocks, an outdoor shower, and a jacuzzi that's yours for the week, not the resort's.
Buffet Drago covers breakfast and dinner, with themed nights and cooking done in front of you. On the nights you'd rather sit down properly, Góndola does traditional Italian food in a quieter room of its own.
This is the resort's meeting point from morning to night, but it earns its keep after dinner: live music, a run of shows, and a screen big enough to watch a match on without leaving the terrace.
Up on the spa's sun terrace, away from the main pool, the VIP Lounge is where you go for the quiet version of the afternoon — a lounger, a drink brought to you, and nothing scheduled until dinner.
