H Bohemia Suites & Spa Rooms & prices

On Gran Canaria's south coast, at Playa del Ingles, Bohemia Suites & Spa's lobby opens onto mermaids climbing the reception columns in mural paint. Thirty-six rooms lead off it, and the hotel takes no guests under eighteen. Every month the gallery beside the lobby changes hands to a different painter or ceramicist, so the walls are never quite the same visit to visit. For anyone who wants a week where the art is still wet when they arrive.

Inside, the spa walls carry paintings of marine life, painted deliberately thin and pale so the room reads larger than it is. Up top, the 360º restaurant faces the width of the Maspalomas dunes meeting the Atlantic, and the tableware there — plates, cups, spoon holders — was made by the ceramicist Gloria working with the designer Paco Pérez: curved, organic shapes in gold and the blue the sea goes at that height. Elsewhere in the hotel, at LaBoh, a dinosaur fossil rises out of the wall in resin-and-polyester relief. Outside, 500 square metres of garden were laid out by the landscape architect Luis Vallejo — palms, orchids, frangipani, bougainvillea, lavender and cactus set in among whatever Canarian flora was already there.

Bohemia Suites & Spa sets a minimum age of 18 in its own house rules, written at bohemia-grancanaria.com, and read there on 11 August 2026. A house whose rule drops below eighteen, or stops naming an age, is taken off HUSH — how every house is checked.

The rooftop table

On the top floor, the 360° restaurant wraps its tables in glass and hands every seat the same view: the beach, the dunes and the open Atlantic beyond. The kitchen works over a charcoal Josper grill for meat and fish, and as the light fades the room turns to candles and the lights of the resort below. It is the kind of dinner that quietly asks you to stay for one more glass.

Suites above the dunes

Behind the folding glass, the suites are generous and unafraid of colour — a magenta wall here, a gilt-framed mirror there, warm olive wood softening every edge. Sofas face the horizon, curtains draw against the afternoon sun, and the balcony becomes a second room with a lounger and the sea for company. Little runs on autopilot here; even the reading niches are stocked by hand.

This hotel was really nice, I paid an extra $300 for ocean view which was ridiculous. The rooms are super small, they are actually very uncomfortable. Knowing what i know now i would of stayed in Las Palmas instead...
Good to know

Our tips

Dinner at 360º

The 360º restaurant, on the top floor, looks out over the Maspalomas dunes to the Atlantic beyond. The tableware — plates, cups, spoon holders — was made for the room by the ceramicist Gloria, in the curved shapes and the blue the sea goes from up there.

The gallery by the lobby

Each month the room beside reception changes hands to a different painter or ceramicist. It sits alongside the rest of the art through the house — the mermaids painted across the reception columns, the marine life on the spa walls.

The dinosaur at LaBoh

At LaBoh, a dinosaur fossil rises out of the wall in high relief, cast in resin and polyester. Take the last drink of the night near it.

The roof on the right night

Nobody schedules it, but on certain nights the moon comes up straight out of the sea as seen from the hotel roof — the alignment that set off the painting 'El viaje del Héroe', made here by the artist Rufina with the producer Javier Mejías.
