Nothing here was knocked flat and started over. The builders kept the barrel vaults, the rough sandstone and the deep window reveals of the original townhouse, then layered in warm wood, soft indirect light and a handful of well-chosen chairs. The result is a lounge that feels both centuries old and freshly made, the kind of room where a Mallorcan afternoon slows to nothing.
Tucked between the old stone walls, the courtyard pool is a cool green rectangle with a stone spout trickling at one end. Canvas deckchairs and a row of potted golden-barrel cacti line the marble paving, and because the whole thing is enclosed and kept for adults, a morning swim or a long read in the sun stays completely private.

Hotel and staff great. Unfortunately hotels.com did not inform us that we would have to take breakfast in the sister hotel. The breakfast was great ,but the walk between the two hotels is steep.
