H Twin Lotus Resort and Spa Rooms & prices

The road from Krabi airport takes an hour and a half, tracing the coast until it meets Klong Dao — three kilometres of white sand on Ko Lanta. Twin Lotus Resort and Spa sits along that stretch: adults-only from November to April, when house rules bar anyone under eighteen; the rest of the year it opens to families too. For couples, for remote workers planning to stay a while, and for anyone who wants Ko Lanta at its slowest.

Inside, the rooms lean into rich woods and warm earth tones, with Thai contemporary design in the newer categories and, in the higher tiers, a private bathtub set beside the outdoor balcony. The beach is a 370-metre walk from the Private Superior rooms and the Pool Suites, 360 metres from the Superior and Deluxe rooms in the main buildings. Only two of the room types are Private Pool Suites: 145 square metres each, with a separate living room and their own outdoor deck. A library and a snack bar sit off the garden, and there's a coworking space for anyone planning to stay past a week or two.

Twin Lotus Resort and Spa sets a minimum age of 18 in its own house rules, read on 11 August 2026. A house whose rule drops below eighteen, or stops naming an age, is taken off HUSH — how every house is checked.

The pool villas

Behind their own walls, the pool villas trade the shared beach for something entirely private: a plunge pool set into a timber deck, loungers laid with rolled towels, and an outdoor bath open to the sky. Breakfast can arrive on a floating tray that drifts across the water while you wake up slowly. It is the resort at its most sealed-off, a small kingdom of water and wood where the only schedule is your own.

By the sea

The beach is the reason the resort faces the way it does. Wide and soft-sanded, it curves toward a green headland and empties out at low tide into a mirror of wet sand and sky. Casuarinas throw shade to the waterline, where the beach bar sets its tables. Mornings begin here with yoga on the sand; evenings end with the sun going down over the water and a drink in hand.

It's a good hotel, but looks unfinished. The breakfast could have been better and the stuff a bit more helpful, but all in all it was a good place and we enjoyed that we could use the bicycles and kayak for free.

Our tips

The Private Pool Suite

Only two rooms carry this category: 145 square metres in Thai contemporary style, with a separate living room, a private bathtub, and an outdoor deck of their own. Ask for one if the plan is to spend most of the stay within a few steps of the beach path rather than out on it.

Breakfast, if you want it

Breakfast here is charged separately, not folded into the room rate. The snack bar off the garden runs through the day, so a plate by the pool loungers doesn't have to wait for a set hour.

Kayak out from Klong Dao

The resort sits directly on Klong Dao beach, with a kayak and a paddleboard on site and nothing to book ahead. Go out before the day gets hot, then back to the resort's own pool loungers — no beach bag, no walk back to a room to drop it.

Two seasons, two rules

From November to April the resort takes no guests under eighteen; from May to October it opens to families as well. If quiet is the point of the trip, that first window is the one to book.
