The house was raised before 1748 as a working farmstead, with its own spring and a pond that served the household and its guests. By the nineteenth century it had become one of the region's first inns, sheltering merchants and travellers on the road to Bled. Much of that fabric still stands — thick stone walls, hand-hewn beams, a carved doorway — kept through a restoration led with real affection by a local builder who shaped and preserved it in his own patient way.
Each room carries its own quiet wellness. Behind the bed a freestanding tub or a snug pine sauna waits, framed by hand-patterned tile and warm oak, so a soak or a sweat is a few steps from the pillow rather than a booking somewhere downstairs. Curtains in dusk orange and rose soften the alpine light, framed mountain photographs stand in for a headboard, and the whole room is tuned to unwinding at your own hour.
