H Casa Xadani Rooms & prices

Casa Xadani sits on a Pacific hillside in San Miguel del Puerto, on the fringe of Oaxaca's Huatulco coast, where the dry sierra forest tips down to the sea. Clay-walled, palm-thatched cabins, an infinity pool set at the tree line, and a deliberate quiet make it a refuge built for adults — its own site calls it a sustainable and exclusive refuge for adults.

A handful of hand-built cabins and suites — Sabina, Alebrije, Jaguar and Toledo — are shaped from adobe and local wood, with platform beds under mosquito nets, cool polished-concrete floors and private decks. Some wear vivid alebrije murals; all open to the forest and the ocean beyond.

Casa Xadani sets a minimum age of 18 in its own house rules, written at casa-xadani.com, and read there on 11 August 2026. A house whose rule drops below eighteen, or stops naming an age, is taken off HUSH — how every house is checked.

The clay cabins

Each cabin is shaped by hand from adobe and crowned with a steep palm-thatch roof, set on its own raised deck along the slope. They step down the hillside among the dry-forest trees, so every threshold looks out to open sky and, below it, the Pacific breaking on the shore.

Where sierra meets sea

From the terraces the land falls away in a wave of green to the water, exactly as the house promises — an environment where the mountains meet the sea. Woven chairs under the thatch make the long view somewhere to sit with a coffee and do very little at all.

We chose this place because we were looking for somewhere quiet and away from the big hotel complexes and bustle of Huatulco town. In that respect, Casa Xadani met our expectations- I felt like I had a little...

The views are breathtaking. From my bedroom, I could see the waves of playa majón and hear the neighboring sounds of the jungle landscape. But it doesn’t stop there. There is also a gym to meet all of your work out...

Our tips

Massages in the open air

The lodge arranges relaxing massages out in the surrounding nature — its own answer to a spa, a treatment with the forest and the sound of the Pacific in place of four walls.

Sunset from the infinity pool

The shared pool runs to an open edge above the tree line, framing the ocean horizon. Late afternoon, as the light turns gold, it is the best seat on the property for the Pacific sunset.

Surf at Barra de Copalita

The coast below is surf country: Barra de Copalita, where the Río Copalita meets the sea, draws surfers of every level and has local schools and board rental. You can walk down to the beach, though a car makes the climb back up easier.

Copalita ruins & Huatulco bays

The Copalita Eco-Archaeological Park guards ancient ruins above the river mouth, and the nine bays of Huatulco lie beyond — the region's airport is about thirty minutes away by road.
