Three hundred and fifty metres from the Arc de Triomf metro stop, in the middle of Barcelona, a plain stairwell leads up to Arc House. It is a hostel of shared dorms — mixed and female-only, bunks under whatever daylight reaches this side of the block, a locker for what you would rather not leave out. HUSH read the house rules: no guests under eighteen. This is a bed for anyone who wants Barcelona at street level, not a lobby.
The dorms are simple: bunk beds, personal lockers, and windows that let in whatever daylight reaches this side of the block. Bathrooms are shared, and so is the kitchen — not a restaurant, just a room where you cook what you carried back yourself and eat it at whichever table is free. There is a lounge with a television for the evenings, and a tour desk downstairs if you would rather have the city mapped out before you go find it. Six rooms in total, split between mixed and female-only dorms, so you know which corridor you are choosing before you book. Arc House keeps the essentials plain and leaves the rest of Barcelona to you.
Arc House Barcelona sets a minimum age of 18 in its own house rules, read on 25 August 2026. A house whose rule drops below eighteen, or stops naming an age, is taken off HUSH — how every house is checked.

Asking the house for its rooms…
If you are traveling alone and you like this kind of accommodation is super. Friendly staff, clear spaces, and the location is super. near metro station and 10 minutes walk to the center of the town. Very satisfied
The room size was good and the bed was comfy. There is a lot of common space to share. I got a favour from the nice receptionist in the day turn. I made a gift of books to the hostel in return ;)
Good location and nice installations

Arc House runs two kinds of shared dorm — mixed and female-only — each with bunk beds and a locker for what you would rather not leave lying out. Say which one you want when you book; the six rooms fill from both sides.
The kitchen is shared, not a restaurant: cook what you carried back with you and eat it at whichever table is free. It keeps the trip cheaper and puts you in the room with whoever else is staying the same few nights.
The metro at Arc de Triomf is about a five-minute walk, close enough that you can drop your bag and still decide where the day goes from the platform. Come back to the lounge and its television when you have had enough of it.
Arc House arranges pub crawls for anyone who would rather not work out the city's bars alone, and the tour desk downstairs does the same for daytime plans. Neither is compulsory — the shared lounge is there for whoever opts out.
