Downstairs, the kitchen works from what the local farms send over, served in the same cosy country kitchen the pub has always been. Jorge and Jane have run it since 2019 — he for his Portuguese charm and a cracking sense of humour, she for a warm energy and a winning smile — having started together at a sister pub in Edgehill back in 2015.
