The Cave Suites follow a volcanic path cut underground into the caldera rock, stone-finished walls around a private pool that is the point of the room, not an extra. The Sunset Suites face west, each with its own pool for the hour the sun drops behind the far islands. The Sunrise Suites turn east toward the Aegean, first light before anyone else on the rim is awake. Three suites in total, one of each kind, which is why nobody at breakfast is a stranger. A fitness center and sauna sit behind them for the days the caldera walk is not enough, and reception runs through the night for whichever ferry hour you are catching.

Cave, Sunset and Sunrise Suites each hold just two adults, so the room never feels shared with anyone but the view.
Every suite has its own plunge pool set right at the cliff edge, the water reaching toward an infinity line with nothing beyond it but the caldera and the volcano. Late in the day the pools catch the low sun and the whole terrace turns amber. This is the centre of a stay here: a private pool, a daybed, and the long drop to the sea below.
