H Kalia Bingin Rooms & prices

Kalia Bingin is a small adults-only hideaway on the southern tip of Bali, tucked into the lanes of Bingin a short walk from the surf breaks and cliff-edge beaches of the Bukit peninsula. A shallow lagoon pool runs through the middle of the property, and the whole place is built for two: no children, no crowds, just palms, warm stone and the slow rhythm of a pool day. It is the kind of quiet retreat couples and honeymooners come to Uluwatu for.

Rooms are few and generous, each one for two adults, dressed in teak, rattan and hand-knotted macrame over polished concrete floors. King beds sit under woven pendant lights; open-air bathrooms hold stone basins, rain showers and cactus gardens. Every room opens to the water, with a day bed reserved in the pool and a private terrace to come back to.

Kalia Bingin sets a minimum age of 18 in its own house rules, written at kaliabali.com, and read there on 11 August 2026. A house whose rule drops below eighteen, or stops naming an age, is taken off HUSH — how every house is checked.

Rooms open to the pool

Three room types line the lagoon, and all of them face the water. The Superior Swim-Up gives you direct pool access straight off the terrace; the two Deluxe rooms add a private day bed set in the pool and, in the largest, a freestanding bathtub in a tropical open-air bathroom. Inside, king beds rest against teak headboards, macrame hangs on soft grey walls, and rattan wardrobes and stone basins keep everything cool and unhurried.

The Coconut Kitchen

Dining happens in the open air among the plants, at teak tables laid with turquoise stoneware and sheltered by the greenery. The Coconut Kitchen runs from an all-day breakfast through lunch and dinner, with a spread of fresh juices, cocktails and light plates carried out to the loungers by the water. Order a floating breakfast and it arrives on a tray set adrift in the lagoon pool, laid out just for the two of you.

Location really close to great eateries and amenities, but tucked away enough to be quiet and peaceful! All staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, breakfast was delicious, and the pool was superb.

Our tips

A floating breakfast on the pool

Book the floating breakfast at least a day ahead and it comes out on a tray set on the lagoon pool: a pastry basket with jam and butter, a fruit platter, a la carte dishes, coffee and fresh juice, arranged for two on the water.

Spa and yoga upstairs

The wellness floor sits above the main building, with air-conditioned massage rooms and a spa menu. Beside it a quiet space is kept open for yoga or a light workout whenever no class is running, with a mat provided on request.

Surf breaks at Bingin Beach

Bingin Beach and its reef break are about 1.2 km downhill through the village, with Padang Padang and Dreamland a short ride further along the coast. It is one of the most storied stretches of surf on the Bukit peninsula, whether you paddle out or just watch.

Uluwatu Temple at sunset

Pura Luhur Uluwatu, the clifftop sea temple, is roughly 6.5 km away and best reached late in the day for the Kecak fire dance performed against the sunset over the Indian Ocean.
