Climb to the top of the house and the medina falls away below, the Atlas mountains rising behind the rooftops. Each room is built around a tale and finished by hand — a fan-stitched headboard, a backlit medallion of pierced brass, Berber rugs laid over warm terracotta floors. Arched alcoves lead to en-suite bathrooms in tadelakt, with robes waiting on the wall. These are rooms made to be lingered in rather than passed through, cool and quiet whatever the hour outside.
