The spa splits into a heated pool with its own jacuzzi and a separate cold pool, plus underwater hammocks for the water itself. Out of the water are three named hot stone loungers — Hammam, Tatami and Cleopatras — and two private cabins for the treatment list kept at reception.
The kitchen sends its aperitifs to the table itself, before the meal moves through what the house calls twenty small stories about water, nature and roots — three Michelin stars, taken slowly. The dining room is small and rustic-touched, with windows over the garden, so ask for a table early enough to still catch the light on it.
The gym is small and specific rather than large: a Forma bike, a Kinesis Personal Vision for full-body work, a Cross Personal for cardio, a Wellness Ball for balance. Come down before the spa closes and move straight from the last machine into the heated pool.
